Opening Times:
We are open for: 38 weeks each year.
We are open : Monday to Friday
Morning opening times are: 8:50am – 11:50am
Afternoon opening times are : 12:10pm – 3:10pm
30 hour session times are : 8:50am – 3:10pm
We only provide a hot meal for children staying for 30 hours, ( doing all day ), if they are entitled to the extended 15 hours funding. All our food is purchased locally where practicable, and prepared & cooked on the school premises by qualified personnel. The kitchens have 5 scores on the doors and hold certificates of excellence for balanced nutritional meals.
We provide care and education for young children between the ages of 2½ yrs – 4 yrs 11 months
We reserve the right to accept children between the ages of 2 – 2½ yrs in exceptional circumstances at our discretion. We also accept two-and-a-half-year-old funding if the families and children are entitled.
Fees
The fees for rising 3’s are £15.00 per 3 hour session. If this arrangement is difficult, an alternative arrangement can be made. Fees must still be paid if children are absent for a short period of time. If your child has to be absent over a long period of time, talk to Natalie. From the term AFTER your child’s 3rd birthday you will receive 5 FREE Nursery Education funded places with us. For your child to keep her/his place at Holy Cross you must pay the fees or we must receive nursery education funding for your child. [NB late payments will incur interest added. 3 and 4 year olds qualifying for funding will not receive discounts].
Whether fee paying or free places for your child, Holy Cross request a £25 per term contribution towards ingredients for baking/gardening, special crafts & activities such as Mother’s day, Christmas, one off events etc. and Healthy eating & drinks etc.
Mobile Phones.
We operate a no mobile phone policy on the premises. Please leave your personal belongings and mobile phone in a locker or in the office, Thank you
